Buying your first home can be a wonderful achievement and a memorable moment in your life. But, there are many things you need to know and much work to be done before you receive your house keys. The Town of Hempstead is offering free First-Time Homebuyer seminars, giving neighbors the tools and know-how to navigate the home-buying process. At a First Time Homebuyer seminar, detailed information will be provided on mortgages, inspections, title insurance, contracts, tax exemptions, and assessment challenges. Reservations are required by phone or email.
