 Built in 1912, the fully restored 40-horse carousel is a historic object of outstanding design, workmanship and artistry. Hours: September through June open Tuesday through Friday Noon to 3 pm; Saturday., Sunday & Holidays Noon to 5 pm. July & August open Monday through Sunday Noon to 5 pm.

 The Long Island Children's Museum is a "hands on" environment where children and their families can explore interactive exhibits and programs. Designed for kids 2 to 12, LICM offers visitors the opportunity to learn by doing. Hours: Tuesday through Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. September through June. July & August 7 days a week. Closed some holidays.
