Beginner Feng Shui - 4 Part Workshop

This series of classes is designed for anyone brand new to Feng Shui. We’ll discuss the fundamental principles Qi, yinyang, the cosmic trinity, the five elements, developing into intuition, exploring the modern day Bagua, and structural Feng Shui. Students will receive practical Feng Shui tips throughout the series of classes and begin to understand how their home and surroundings can affect their mindset, emotions, behavior and overall health. Classes will include:  Utilizing the Five Elements to Bring Harmony Into Your Home; How to Use the Modern-day Bagua Map (Part 1) and How to use the Modern-day Bagua Map (Part 2).  The class is limited to 25 adults.  This class is offered at Forest City Park, Wantagh.

Utilizing the Five Elements To Bring Harmony Into Your Home                  

Understanding the cycles, language and symbolic importance of the five elements is essential in the practice of Feng Shui. Each of the five elements has a characteristic based on their nature of being and can be utilized within a space in a variety of ways. Students will explore how to embrace the natural healing energies of the Five Elements into their home to enhance positive vibrations.

How to Use the Bagua Map (Part 1)

During this session, students learn how to utilize an active Modern-day Bagua over residential floor plans to gain a psychological understanding of how your surrounding could affect your mindset, emotions, and behavior. During this session, students will also be provided with Feng Shui tips that everyone can utilize.

How to Use the Bagua Map (Part 2)

For this final class, we’ll utilize the time to review student floorplans (who wish to share) for real time Feng Shui tips and discussions. This is one of the best ways to solidify the teachings of Feng Shui and begin implementing them into the home and lifestyle.

Intermediate Feng Shui - 7 Part Workshop

This class digs deeper into the classical Feng Shui practices. Students are introduced to the building blocks of Flying Star Feng Shui which includes Form School, Trigrams, the Five Elements according to Flying Star, the 24-Mountains Compass, the Lo Shu diagram and how to apply Flying Stars to a home. To conclude this series of classes, students are introduced to Reiki and Sound Healing, which is a wonderful complement to the practice of Feng Shui. Classes will include:  Anatomy of the Classical Bagua MapSetting Up a Natal Chart (Building Astrology);  Applying Flying Star Feng Shui (Part 1);  Applying Flying Star Feng Shui (Part 2,3) and Introduction to Reiki & Sound Healing.         The class is limited to 25 adults.  This class is offered at Forest City Park, Wantagh.

Anatomy of the Classical Bagua Map

Students learn how each element corresponds to the Lo Shu, cycles of change (Periods that are timely vs untimely), different body parts, and family members within a household.  Eventually, this information provides insights from into what zones of the home are best for wealth generation, support of health, and relationships once you know how to plot the building’s natal chart.

Setting Up a Natal Chart (Building Astrology)

During this class, students learn how to set up a home’s Natal Chart by identify the home’s period and facing direction and how to use a compass. Demonstrations on how to begin plotting the Natal Chart over a home will also be shared.

Applying Flying Star Feng Shui (Part 1)

During the first class, we’ll review how each of the five elements corresponds to the Lo Sho, body parts, family members, the 24-mountains and Periods that are timely vs untimely and how to identify the facing direction. We’ll look at sample case studies to support this review.

Applying Flying Star Feng Shui (Part 2, 3, 4)

For the remaining classes, students have the opportunity to conduct a sample review their own home’s floor plans. Overall, we’ll explore how to identify neighboring Sha and Shen energies, the importance of streets and pathway designs, ideal interior layouts, preferred arrangements and locations for beds, desks/home offices, stoves, door placements (internal and external), and good vs not good stair placements, to name a few topics. Depending on the sample case studies provided from the students within the class, that can offer additional Feng Shui insights and suggestions.

Introduction to Reiki and Sound Healing

A wonderful complement to the practice of Reiki is Sound Healing. Sound Healing has been credited with supporting better emotional and social development, while also improving psychological well-being. To begin this class, you’ll be introduced to a variety of musical healing tools which include tuning forks, drums, shakers, singing bowls and the vocalization of the bija mantras to help harmonize each chakra. To conclude this class, we’ll gather as a group to co-create healing rhythms through deep listening and joyful interactions!
