Helen Keller Services for the Blind
Helen Keller Services for the Blind offers several clubhouse-like day centers for legally blind persons age 55 and older. Seniors receive special counseling and training, including updates on Social Security, Medicaid/Medicare, and nutrition. Members make friends and join in arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, luncheons, and trips to shows and museums.

The New York State Office of Children and Family Services' Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped (CBVH) provides rehabilitation services to individuals who are legally blind and reside in New York State.
