There is no fee for a parade permit in the Town of Hempstead. However, Town Board approval is required. Applications must be filed a minimum of 30 days prior to the event. The application must be approved by the Nassau County Police Department, Nassau County Fire Marshall, and the Town Board prior to issuance. A map of the parade route must accompany each permit application.
