Strength Training

Strength training exercises may improve your heart function, balance, strengthen your bones, and will help make you stronger. Weights and  exercise mat are required. Bands optional.  For all classes, gym attire and sneakers are required. Towel and water suggested. No refunds. 

Class Details

  • Registration: Register onlinebeginning Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. until class is filled.
  • Fee: $72
    • Seniors/Veterans: $36 (Reduced rate also applies to the physically challenged and volunteer firefighters)
  • Program Schedule: 12weekly sessions
  • Location: Merrick Golf Clubhouse, Merrick
  • Day/Time:
    •  Fridays, February 2 to April 26 (no class 3/29)
      • 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Location: Harold Walker Memorial Park, Lakeview
    • Wednesdays, January 31 to April 17
      • 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (GOLD)
