Adult "Large Group" Golf Lessons

Golf instruction, in a large group setting, will be given by PGA golf pros, Al and Walter, for adults 18 years and older, who are interested in learning the fundamental skills and techniques of the great sport of golf.  Lessons will be given in driving, fairway woods, long irons, chipping and putting.  It is recommended that participants bring their own clubs, however, loaner clubs are available for the day. Groups meet twice a week for a total of eight classes.  Monday/Wednesday classes will be held at Merrick Road Golf Course and Tuesday/Thursday classes will be conducted at Lido Golf Course.  Classes are held rain or shine.  Please bring a “5” and “7” iron to the first class.  All classes, except for putting lessons, are held at the driving range.  Ball fee of $5.00 is separate from sign-up fee and must be paid in cash at each lesson, which utilizes the driving range.  

Adult "Large Group" Golf Lessons

  • Registration: Register online only beginning Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 10:00 am and continuing until the start of the class or until class is filled.
  • Fee: $44 full price (ages 59 and under)
    • Seniors/Veterans: $22 (Reduced rate also applies to the physically challenged and volunteer firefighters)
  • The $5 ball fee is separate and is to be paid at the golf course prior to each day's lesson. Ball fee is cash only.

  • 9:30 am to 11:00 am or 11:30 am to 1:00 pm

Lido Golf Course

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • April 30, May 2, 7, 9, 14, 16. 21, 23
  • 9:30 am to 11:00 am or 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
