Summer youth registration will begin on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:00 am and continue through the second week of each program or until class is filled. No refunds.
In order to register for a TOH class, you must have an online account. Go to the Hempstead Town Parks website to create an account, register, and pay for classes.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
American Red Cross Blended Learning Lifeguard Training is a class for participants 15 years of age and older. Each participant must perform a pre-skills examination before their acceptance into the class. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY for all classes .
ANCHOR is a comprehensive year-round program serving 1,200 children and adults with special needs.

he Long Island Cornhole Association, in partnership with the Town of Hempstead, is hosting its first ever youth cornhole clinic.

A fun and functional strength and conditioning program for kids ages 6-12.
Competitive Swim Team
Here's a great opportunity for Swimmers ages 6 to 16 years of age to join the Swim Team. Be apart of the Nassau Swim Conference and compete against other municipalities.
Field Hockey Clinic
This four day clinic will teach children of all levels the fundamentals skills of field hockey.
Girls Softball Clinic(NEW)
The clinic will cover all basic aspects of girls fast pitch softball including fundamentals, hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, catching and of course team work!
High School Soccer Leagues
The recreation division of the Town of Hempstead's Department of Parks and Recreation will conduct a soccer leagues for high school students.
Hula Hoop Fitness (Outdoors)

Junior Ocean Lifeguarding
Junior Ocean Lifeguards is a youth-based program teaching valuable aquatic skills, beach environment awareness and the role of ocean lifeguards.
With a staff of outstanding coaches, the Lacrosse Academy will travel throughout the township conducting weekly clinics, one-on-one training, and small group lessons.
