Coastal Science and Renewable Energy Consortium
The Coastal Science & Renewable Energy Consortium will offer researchers, educators, policy makers, environmental advocates, businesses, and other opportunities to work individually and collaboratively on projects and programs related to renewable energy, sustainability, and the natural and built coastal environments by utilizing the facilities, equipment, and expertise at the Town of Hempstead’s Department of Conservation & Waterways in Point Lookout, NY.
Hempstead Supervisor Don Clavin and members of the Hempstead Town Board are teaming up with Atlantic Marine Conservation Society (AMSEAS), and All Our Energy to host regular community beach clean-ups in Lido Beach and Point Lookout.
Get outdoors and explore what nature has to offer within the Town of Hempstead's preserves, fishing piers, and beaches, and find paddle craft access points to our largest local preserve, Hempstead Bay.
